Chihuahua Amputee Admired For His Bravery and Upbeat Demeanor

It was love at first sight for an injured Chihuahua mongrel and the vet that saved his life. The pup, named Jim, suffered a pelvic fracture, but despite having a leg amputated, he was joyous and loving. Dr. Sue Lynch admired his bravery and upbeat demeanor, so she knew she couldn’t let go. After fostering him throughout his rehabilitation, she decided to give him an enduring family member. Not only did he survive this scary scenario, he also ended up with a loving family. Lynch guarantees Jim will never be hurt like this again. Having a vet for a mom may not be so intimidating in spite of everything!

Life-Saving Surgical procedure

Jim arrived at the Humane Society of the Pike Peaks Area in Colorado after being reportedly hit by an automobile. Rescuers guess he was left on the side of the freeway after a life-threatening automobile accident. His pelvis was shattered, and vets needed to amputate certainly one of his legs to save his life. However, alongside the way, he was such a trooper.
“”From the moment I spotted him, with a broken pelvis and so painful, I just couldn’t imagine how sweet he was despite all his accidents and pain,”  Lynch said..
Jim had to have pelvic surgery, but Lynch was the one who noticed extensive nerve damage in his right leg. Amputating his leg was one of the simplest ways to alleviate the pup’s ache.

Lynch fostered Jim while he recovered from his amputation. Although it was supposed to be a short-lived arrangement, Lynch and her family fell head over the heels for the tiny canine.

Three Legs Can’t Restrict Jim Down!

As soon as Jim started healing, he felt more like himself than ever. He’s a spirited pup, and Lynch’s family quickly knew they couldn’t live without him. After some cautious consideration, Lynch decided to undertake him and give him the life he deserves.
